4 eggs

100g brown sugar

200ml coconut oil

250g whole wheat flour 

250g almond meal 

100ml almond milk

pinch of salt 

baking powder 

berries of your choice ( or use frozen)


  • preheat oven to 350'F (180'C)
  • whisk together eggs and sugar until sugar is completely dissolved,then add coconut oil and mix again
  • gradually start adding flour and almond meal until well incorporated 
  • add milk, baking powder and pinch of salt and mix well 
  • grease and flour your cake pan and pour prepared batter in it
  • top with any berries you like and bake for about 30 min until golden or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean
