BAKED SALMON WITH HONEY GINGER GLAZE

2 salmon filets

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp rice vinegar

2 tbsp sasame oil

2 tbsp honey

2 cloves of garlic

1 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tbsp grated fresh ginger 

2 green onions, thinly sliced

 

HONEY GINGER GLAZE:

2 tbsp honey + 1 tsp soy sauce + 1 tsp sesame oil + 1 or 2 tbsp sriracha + 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger + 1/2 tsp sesame seeds

 

  • for the glaze whisk together all the ingredients above and set aside
  • in a bowl whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds and green onions
  • in a ziploc bag or a bowl combine this ginger marinade and salmon filets and marinate for at least 30 min to overnight
  • preheat oven to 400'F , lightly grease a baking sheet 
  • place salmob filets along with the marinade on the baking sheet and bake until fish flakes easily with fork, about 20 min
  • serve salmon immediately with honey ginger glaze
