1 can organic chickpeas

2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp salt

3-4 tsp mix spices ( like smoked paprika, chili powder, rosemary , thyme , cumin garam masala, curry or any spices you like) 


  • preheat oven to 400'F
  • drain and rinse chickpeas and then pat dry with paper towel until they feel dry to the touch
  • spread them out on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and stir to make sure they are evenly coated
  • place in the oven and roast for about 20-30 min and shake the pan every 10 min
  • some of the chickpeas may pop - that's normal
  • chickpeas are done when they turn golden and slightly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle
  • then sprinkle the spices all over the chickpeas and stir to coat evenly
  • they will become less crispy and more chewy once they cool completely down but it's equally delicious
